Our client, a leading government agency specializing in health care management, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. You will be part of the analysis support team supporting critical software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job TitleSenior Business Analyst
LocationRemote – must adhere to Pacific time zone work hours and be available to attend meetings 8a-5p PT Mon-Fri. Candidates located near Sacramento metro to make occasional office visits are a plus.
Pay Rangeup to $65 per hour
What's the Job?- Rapidly develop and exercise a strong understanding of key objectives, priorities, and procedures for Microsoft .Net software applications.
- Provide timely and flexible business analysis support throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Facilitate data collection activities, work sessions, and document reviews to capture and refine business requirements and user stories.
- Track solution requirements and employ software tools to trace them through design, development, and implementation phases.
- Participate in test planning, tester training, test execution, and reporting activities to ensure quality deliverables.
- At least 5 years of full-time experience within the past 10 years as a business analyst on complex software projects.
- Proven experience facilitating end-to-end business and solution requirements processes, including design workshops and stakeholder approvals.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualifying experience with an additional four years of business analysis work.
- Experience working within waterfall, agile, and hybrid project delivery frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different organizational levels and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
