• Manage the contracting lifecycle for AI software solutions.
• Review and edit NDAs, MSAs, BAAs, and Vendor Agreements.
• Identify non-standard terms and escalate high-risk clauses.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle from proposal to signature.
• Organize and track responses to RFPs and RFQs.
• Manage Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and ensure contracts align with HIPAA and data privacy standards.
• Maintain Lyssn’s status and registration with state and local procurement portals.
• Partner with the Sales team to draft and negotiate contract documents.
• Ensure contract billing terms, renewal dates, and fee schedules are accurately communicated to Finance for invoicing.
• Refine and enhance Lyssn’s contracts playbook to streamline redlines and reduce reliance on outside counsel.
• Develop and maintain contract processing documentation and procedures.
• Create contract summaries highlighting key terms and obligations for business stakeholders.
• Assist in audits by providing contract documentation as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment
• 2+ years of experience with state and local government purchasing and procurement processes
• Basic understanding of contract law and business terms
• Ability to read, interpret, and redline contract terms
• Familiarity with standard government IT contract terms, HIPAA, and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (Track Changes), G-Suite, and CRM tools (Hub Spot)
• Ability to adopt established standard operating procedures and develop new SOPs

• Paralegal certification or Masters in Legal Studies
• Familiarity with Hubspot or similar CRM systems
• Understanding of software licensing models
• Experience with project and contract management software (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, Asana)
• Familiarity with state and local government risk management strategies

• $75,000 - $90,000: 1-3 years of experience
• $90,000 - $105,000: 3-5 years of SaaS experience and/or Paralegal certification
• $105,000 - $120,000: 5+ years of experience and advanced credentials
