Are you a strategic account leader passionate about driving social impact through digital innovation? Madeo, an award-winning brand and web development agency, is seeking a
Senior Account Manager to nurture and grow our partnerships with leading foundations, nonprofits, and cultural institutions like the Innocence Project, Robin Hood Foundation, and the Equal Justice Initiative.

This is a senior, remote role for a client partnership expert with 7+ years of experience at the intersection of account management, digital project leadership, and new business development. Your Impact:

You will serve as a trusted advisor to our nonprofit and foundation clients, ensuring the success and expansion of their digital partnerships. You will also play a key role in new business development, helping to shape proposals and build relationships with potential mission-aligned partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary strategic lead for a portfolio of key accounts, fostering long-term relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring client success on projects and retainers.
  • Lead and contribute to new business efforts, including proposal development, client pitches, and relationship cultivation with prospective nonprofit and foundation clients.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, providing essential account-level context and support for medium-to-large website and digital creative projects
    .
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to clients, leveraging a background in digital strategy to guide their long-term vision and success (with support from dedicated strategists).
  • Help shape and improve the agency’s account management standards, processes, and best practices.
Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate):
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in account management, client services, and digital project management within an agency or similar setting.
  • A proven track record of growing and nurturing client relationships and contributing to new business growth
    .
  • Strong background in managing website and digital creative projects for complex organizations.
  • Direct experience working with nonprofits, foundations, or cultural institutions
    ; a genuine passion for social impact is essential.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, comfortable working remotely with core hours of 10 AM – 6 PM EST
    .
  • Location in NY/Brooklyn is a bonus, but not a requirement.
