This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in our West Concord office, with flexibility for remote work on remaining days.
Role and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Publishing Operations Manager, the Operations Assistant will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to support all aspects of sales operations, customer service and order processing across our business channels. You'll provide outstanding customer service, via our customer service portal and phone inquiries, and serve as a key liaison with fulfillment partners in the US, Canada, and the UK for order processing, shipments, and tracking.
This role also involves website operational support, including product setup, inventory, availability and pricing monitoring and updates. Additional responsibilities include generating scheduled and ad hoc reporting, handling general office administration including office stock orders and system maintenance.
Qualifications- Excellent spreadsheet skills and proficiency with Google Suite, Outlook and related programs, with knowledge of AI tools to enhance productivity;
- Excellent communication skills, including high comfort level on the phone;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- The drive to self-start and resilience to problem-solve while working as part of a team;
- A flexible work style with strong time-management and collaboration skills;
- Physical ability to handle book inventory, and the ability to lift and move boxes of books weighing 25 lbs;
- A positive attitude and infectious excitement for children’s books!
