Sourcing Manager

About the Role:

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing contracting strategies that align with the organization’s goals. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring expansion of hotel portfolio with a competitive cost, quality, and relationship building with the hotel suppliers. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, finance, and revenue, to optimize the supply chain and support overall business objectives.

• Develop and continuously grow a network of local hotel partners by negotiating mutually beneficial distribution agreements, managing the onboarding process, and maintaining Nuitee’s relationship with these hotels.
• Collaborate with both independent hotels and hotel chains across a specific region to meet your targets.
• Manage supplier accounts, by negotiating the best rates and allotments, and through strong negotiation of preferred agreements.
• Support supplier with any issues related to payment, rates, etc.
• Set targets with suppliers based on account management.
• Run allotment utilization reports, monitor current availability and adjust the allotment, as required.
• Convert 3rd parties into direct business, to gain more market share on the specific territories.
• Introduce Company Group to new suppliers.
• Promote the use of Company extranet system amongst suppliers, to encourage them to update directly any changes.
• Ensure Direct Connect rates are open and updated year-round.
• Understanding Channel Manager connectivity and functionalities would be a plus.
• Monitor booking types and cancellations on a regular basis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business, Marketing or Administration
• At least 5 years of experience in Hotel Contracting or Sourcing in online distribution companies (B2B desirable).
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software tools.
