SALARY: The salary range for this position is $72,030.32 to $ for Schedule A, and $72,030.32 to $ for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule

REMOTE WORK :
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
Responsibilities- Supervise a case management team and prioritize the day-to-day operations involved in moving Tax Court cases from entry to disposition. Establish team priorities and goals, allocate and assign work, and monitor productivity and quality of work product. Provide training to staff as needed
- Mentor, coach, and monitor staff on performance and take necessary actions, ensure compliance with Judiciary and internal policies, resolve staff conflicts, recommend appropriate training, and serve as a team s primary resource to resolve administrative and case management issues. Complete performance evaluations
- Manage a case load for 5-6 judges. Includes extensive interaction with judges and their staff to process documents, schedule cases, develop and manage trial calendars and resolve case issues
- Review legal pleadings for compliance with court rules and regulations, accuracy and completeness. Run daily/weekly/monthly reports to track progress and identify areas of attention
- Prepare and analyze case data and financial reports to track progress, identify discrepancies and resolve issues as required
- Make recommendations and develop policies and procedures to ensure efficient case management operations
- Review, recommend, develop and/or implement administrative policies and procedures for Unit staff
- Supervise and coordinate storage and retrieval of Tax Court records according to established requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

QualificationsGraduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate degree from an accredited…
