Overview

Our client is a PE-backed, vertically integrated citrus ingredients manufacturer that provides products across beverage, bakery, spice and savory applications. As part of a broader commercial transformation, the company is investing in innovation-led growth and is hiring a Senior Sales Manager to own and accelerate the growth of the Dry Peel category with beverage and spice manufacturers.

Reporting to the Director of Global Ingredients, the successful candidate should be a commercially sharp sales professional who thrives in a growth-focused ingredient environment and wants true ownership of a strategic category. This person will support an expanding portfolio and grow relationships with performance-driven beverage customers such as Blue Moon and Celestial Seasonings
. The role was created due to continued business growth and increasing demand across beverage, bakery, tea, and related applications.

What You ll Do
  • You’ll be on the front lines of growth, with the ability to influence category direction and long-term value creation.
  • Own and grow relationships with performance driven, quality customers in food and beverage who value consistency, reliability, and scalable ingredient solutions, including beverage, spice, tea, sauce, and bakery manufacturers.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover new applications, usage expansion, and replacement opportunities where customers are seeking alternatives to lower-quality or imported citrus ingredients.
  • Build strong, multi-level relationships across procurement, quality, R&D, operations, and commercial leadership to drive adoption, volume growth, and long-term partnerships.
Who You Are
  • A senior commercial professional with 5+ years of experience in food ingredient sales, ideally with exposure to dry ingredients, citrus, or functional ingredients.
  • Experienced in selling into food and beverage manufacturers and managing both early-stage placements and scaled commercial programs.
  • Comfortable discussing ingredient performance, functionality, and application fit with customer R&D, quality, and technical teams.
