This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Estimator (Remote). In this role, you will be a vital link between traditional preconstruction workflows and innovative AI-powered estimation technology. Your expertise will guide commercial contractors as they integrate and optimize preconstruction software solutions. You'll engage with various stakeholders to enhance user adoption and streamline processes, delivering insights that will shape the future of estimation across the industry.
Accountabilities- Apply deep expertise in preconstruction processes, including takeoff, estimation, bid management, and qualification/risk management
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights to internal product development teams
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in preconstruction
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
- Support sales efforts by participating in demos, onboarding, and customer training
- Travel on-site to large customers for in-person training when required
- Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points, and adoption challenges
- Deliver training sessions, demos, and presentations showcasing the platform’s value
- Contribute to thought leadership content such as blog posts, whitepapers, and presentations
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars
- 6+ years of experience in preconstruction roles, including takeoff and estimation
- Hands‑on experience with drywall estimation
- Strong knowledge of preconstruction software and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with product, sales, and customer teams
