Global Account Manager – Tax and Accounting (Remote, United States)

We empower individuals and businesses with tools that streamline financial management and enhance compliance. This strategic role focuses on maintaining and growing our largest North American Global customer relationships in the Tax and Accounting segment.
Responsibilities- Manage 4-8 key global customers, developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for new business and retention.
- Establish and maintain senior‑level relationships with executives in North America and globally, influencing partnership direction and future growth.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to close deals that contribute to revenue growth while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain deep product knowledge and continuously communicate the value proposition, pricing, and ROI to customers.
- Lead account planning sessions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product development, customer success) to align messaging and gather client feedback.
- Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting on new business and retention activity.
- Represent the organization at key customer and industry conferences as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of sales experience focused on tax and accounting solutions with a proven track record of exceeding global market targets.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and accounting practices.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with ability to influence all organizational levels.
- Proficient in data‑driven decision making, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
- Experience in international markets and awareness of cultural business nuances.
- Highly collaborative, deadline‑oriented, and team‑centric approach to program delivery.
- Proficiency with CRM software, client success platforms, and data analytics.
Up to 30% annually for client visits, conferences, and team meetings as required.
RemoteThis is a fully remote position. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
CompensationTarget salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $189,950 – $268,900.
