The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Strategic Business Development Manager for the Semiconductor Solutions Business within the Display & Electronics Product Platform, you will:
- Assess global market opportunities by analyzing industry and technology trends, customer needs, key players, and developing business strategies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers and stakeholders, actively participating in industry forums and events.
- Drive business growth through strategic ecosystem engagements, collaborations, and partnerships.
- Enhance the company's brand reputation and industry presence, leading to new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Provide insights on technological and business trends to inform strategic decisions and guide product development.
- Develop solutions for complex problems using creativity and analytical skills, coordinating resources across departments.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, share growth visions, and negotiate to achieve cooperation and action.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, or Sales in relevant environments.
- Three (3) years of experience in the Semiconductor industry, with a proven record of driving growth.
Additional qualifications that can enhance success:
- Master’s degree or MBA with relevant concentration.
- Seven (7) years of industry experience with a focus on strategic initiatives and partnerships.
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and packaging processes.
- Strong analytical, market, and stakeholder analysis skills.
- Ability to anticipate market trends, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Hybrid work arrangement; some remote work with travel to Maplewood, MN at least 3 days/week.
- Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Relocation assistance may be provided. Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship. Compensation range is $141,150 - $172,517, plus benefits. For more details, visit 3M’s benefits page.
