Position OverviewThe Associate of Concierge & Lifestyle Services is responsible for working with the New Edge Family Office leadership to develop a best-in‑class concierge platform for ultra‑high‑net‑worth families. Rather than directly executing travel, event, security, or health‑related tasks, the Associate curates and manages a vetted network of top‑tier specialists across each category. This individual ensures that clients have seamless access to best‑in‑class providers while maintaining oversight, quality control, and a consistently elevated client experience.
This role requires impeccable judgment, excellent operational leadership, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of UHNW individuals and their households.
Location:
The ideal candidate will be located in New York, NY or Stamford, CT and able to report to one of our offices there. However, remote candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Build and maintain the firm’s concierge services framework, centered on connecting clients with elite third‑party providers.
- Create structured processes for vetting, onboarding, reviewing, and rotating preferred providers to ensure consistently high standards.
- Build a comprehensive database of all the leading concierge vendors. Maintain this database in real time to reflect industry changes, new providers, disruptors in each category. Stay on the cutting edge.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with leading experts in each service vertical, including:
- Luxury travel advisors, private aviation, charter brokers, luxury travel agents
- Medical concierge providers, top specialists, and wellness practitioners
- High‑end event planners and destination management companies
- Security firms, risk consultants, and protective‑services experts
- Negotiate service expectations, confidentiality standards, and performance requirements with each provider.
- Maintain a comprehensive provider directory and intelligence database.
- Work with client’s New Edge advisor to proactively understand client preferences, travel habits, family dynamics, and privacy considerations to make tailored provider recommendations.
- Monitor provider’s performance, client satisfaction, and service quality across all categories.
- Implement feedback loops and regular provider reviews to maintain high standards.
- Ensure all service partners adhere to strict confidentiality, safety, and UHNW‑appropriate protocols.
- Coordinate with internal compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure third‑party providers meet the firm’s vetting standards.
- Manage budgets, preferred‑provider agreements, and referral frameworks as appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of global risks (travel advisories, security concerns, medical access issues) and ensure providers are prepared to respond.
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated passion for concierge services
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
- Strong project management and solutions based mindset
- Ability to manage high‑pressure, time‑sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Willingness to be available outside traditional business hours to support client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or specialized industry certifications preferred.
