Job Overview

Are you interested in supporting Arctic research that is grounded in community priorities and real-world impact? The Alaska Coastal Cooperative (ACC) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented team member to support the financial, travel, and administrative operations that enable collaborative coastal research across Alaska. This position plays a key role in supporting a project focused on improving communication between scientists, rights holders, and stakeholders, while advancing applied science, workforce development, and education activities within rural coastal communities.

Do you thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy keeping complex projects on track? Successful candidates will be comfortable tracking finances across a diverse research team, coordinating and monitoring travel logistics, and maintaining accurate records with strong attention to detail. An enthusiasm for contributing to Indigenous coastal communities and supporting interdisciplinary Arctic research is essential. This position supports ACTION – Alaska Coastal Cooperative for Co-producing Transformative Ideas and Opportunities in the North, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), and offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization working to build more resilient coastal communities.
