Job DescriptionThe Scheduler supports Consumer businesses by delivering advanced scheduling, staffing analysis, and workforce optimization across multiple sites and skills. This role uses IEX and other WFM tools to create accurate schedules, manage staffing tables, and partner with operations to ensure consistent coverage and service performance. The Scheduler interprets call volume trends, staffing ratios, and KPIs to proactively recommend adjustments that improve efficiency and minimize service risk.
The Scheduler collaborates closely with business partners, Workforce Management teams, and vendors to align on staffing strategies, schedule changes, and operational impacts. The position also contributes to process improvements and automation efforts by enhancing scheduling tools, refining reporting, and identifying opportunities to streamline recurring routines. This role is essential in maintaining operational stability, improving associate experience, and supporting ongoing business growth through data‑driven workforce execution.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain schedules, staffing tables, and skilling structures in IEX and related systems
- Analyze call volume, trends, KPIs, and staffing needs to support forecasting and coverage planning
- Execute Schedule Selection Events, schedule bids, and new hire scheduling routines
- Support vendor alignment, skilling audits, schedule accuracy, and operational communication
- Enhance scheduling tools, tactical reporting, and templates; support automation initiatives
- Participate in cross‑functional routines and communicate staffing risks and opportunities
- 2+ years hands‑on IEX Workforce Management experience (scheduling, skilling, intraday)
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to interpret operational data
- Experience managing multi‑site or multi‑skill staffing environments
- Strong and effective communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex and rapidly‑changing environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with Genesys, EEM, AWS, and Smart Sync
- Experience with automation tools (Alteryx, Robotics, Power BI)
- Knowledge of call routing, skills management, and hours‑of‑operation planning
- Experience with cross‑functional support across multiple LOBs
