ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Service Sales team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Build and execute a strategic and tactical growth plan to achieve sales targets and deliver profitable growth across the full service portfolio.
Ensure 100% forecasting accuracy for weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals across the assigned district.
Establish and maintain a strong, unified team environment, ensuring the expansion and retention of customer relationships across the region.
Continuously assess competitive and market dynamics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and deploy effective countermeasures.
Partner cross‑functionally with Sales Administration, Finance, IT, HR, and Legal to ensure alignment, compliance, and operational excellence.
Develop and coach team members through regular performance reviews, feedback, and individualized development plans to strengthen career growth and succession readiness.
The essential requirements of the job include:
3–5+ years of successful experience in sales leadership, demonstrating capability in driving performance and developing talent.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and present data clearly
Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams in a matrixed environment, demonstrating sustained performance and results.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and articulate SCIEX’s value proposition effectively
Demonstrated ability to assess competitive landscapes, interpret market conditions, and guide teams to achieve sales targets.
Experience with Life Science products, scientific instrumentation, or related markets; SCIEX software or hardware experience is a plus.
Travel by vehicle or airplane within assigned geography, up to 30-50% overnight travel may be required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to act as a resource for colleagues and lead small-scale projects, workshops or Kaizens to enhance sales processes and performance.
