The Opportunity

We are seeking a results-oriented and user-focused Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and growth of our flagship digital subscription platform, Weiss Ratings Plus. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, with a focus on subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate will drive memberships on our flagship membership of Weiss Ratings Plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own, Manage and Create New Product Features: Define and own the product roadmap for the Weiss Ratings Plus web and app platform, launching new features and tools for subscribers.
  • Subscription Lifecycle Management: Drive initiatives focused on key subscription metrics, including conversion rates (paywalls, checkout), user onboarding, retention, and churn reduction.
  • Growth & Acquisition
    :
    Drive acquisition and subscription of new members to the platform through multiple traffic strategies.
  • Develop Promotional Funnels
    :
    Work with copywriters, and developers to create and launch promotional landing pages, sales pages and sales carts.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including engineers, designers, data scientists, and marketing to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Feature Definition & Execution: Translate market needs and user insights into clear product requirements and user stories, overseeing the product development process from concept to launch.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions, set strategic goals, prioritize features, and continuously iterate the product strategy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and performance metrics to all internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a direct focus on web subscription or direct-to-consumer digital products.
  • Solid background in financial products, investment ratings, market analysis, or related financial services industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Past ability to acquire new customers and subscriptions thru multiple traffic sources and methods.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business outcomes and managing complex digital products through the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience with subscription funnel components (paywalls, checkouts, etc.) and familiarity with digital subscription metrics.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), data analytics platforms, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with proven ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (CSPO, PMP) are a plus.
  • Experience with direct response copy and marketing a plus.
