The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all inventory operations using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) while ensuring seamless integration and alignment with Salesforce and Ebio Track systems. This role works closely with IT and Finance to maintain data integrity, system alignment, and accurate financial reporting across platforms. Additionally, this position will represent the department in internal work groups and company-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day inventory activities including receiving, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and physical inventories
  • Ensure accurate inventory balances across all locations and systems
  • Establish and maintain inventory policies, procedures, and internal controls through the Quality Management System
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence
  • Analyze inventory turnover, variances, and slow-moving or expired items
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify inventory needs
  • Perform Inventory cycle count and functions
  • Assist in vendor management, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and relationship development.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance operational efficiency within the supply chain.
ERP & Systems Integration
  • Serve as the primary inventory system owner for Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Work closely with IT and Finance to ensure inventory data aligns across Dynamics GP, Salesforce, and Ebio Track
  • Oversee item master governance, units of measure, lot/serial tracking, and costing accuracy across systems
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies between inventory, sales, and financial platforms
  • Support integrations, upgrades, and system enhancements related to inventory management
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expansion (Project Lead)
  • Act as project lead for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 expansion, with a focus on inventory-related modules and integrations
  • Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to define requirements, timelines, and success metrics
  • Lead testing, data validation, training, and change management for inventory processes during the D365 rollout
  • Ensure business continuity and data accuracy during system transitions
Forecasting, Planning & Financial Alignment
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to support demand planning and replenishment strategies
  • Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger in coordination with Finance
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and inventory valuations
  • Provide accurate inventory reporting to support budgeting and executive decision-making
Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Train and support users across inventory systems, including GP, Salesforce, and Ebio Tracktouchpoints
  • Develop and maintain inventory SOPs and system documentation in collaboration with Quality
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, system optimization, and continuous improvement
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
Qualifications

What we’re looking for and personal characteristics:

  • Requires High School diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience with field service systems and processes including but not limited to parts orders, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and/or processing of returns is preferred
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed and defined work processes and work instructions that support supply chain activities
  • Teamwork - Ability to work in a collaborative style
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Organizational Skills – Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detail-oriented tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
