Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive category growth and shopper satisfaction? As Senior Associate Sales Analysis
, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of key categories by partnering closely with merchant teams. Leveraging category analytics and shopper behavior insights, you’ll uncover trends, identify opportunities, and deliver strategic recommendations that influence merchandising decisions and delight club members and retail shoppers.
This role is responsible for supporting category leadership with actionable and compelling shopper insights to internal and external category stakeholders.
In this role you will:
- Develop insights identifying growth opportunities, value to the club member or retail shopper, competitive threats, share trends, and consumer shifts
- Provide analytics support to Managers driving strategic engagement across key departments
- Meet directly with merchants periodically to share findings and present recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with 1+ year of relevant experience
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Analytical mindset
- Gathering and reporting on syndicated sales and shopper data
- POS data (e.g., Nielsen or Circana)
- Sam’s Club data (e.g., Madrid)
- Walmart data (e.g., Scintilla)
- Basic panel data (e.g., Numerator or Nielsen Homescan)
- Clear and concise report writing and presentation skills
- Experience with Excel templates and Power
BI visualization - Basic assortment planning and merchandising relay experience
- Space-to-sales analysis
- JDA (or equivalent), trait maintenance, relay work
- Experience in CPG and/or retail
- Teamwork approach
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Remote work is available 1 day/week for eligible employees
- This role is not eligible for domestic relocation
