B-BBEE Consultant

Cape Town or Johannesburg (Hybrid / Remote)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established people advisory consultancy for an experienced and client-facing B-BBEE Consultant to join their advisory team.

This role is suited to a seasoned B-BBEE professional with strong technical knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes, who is comfortable working across multiple clients, scorecards, and complex implementation requirements in a consulting environment.

• Provide B-BBEE consulting and advisory services to clients across sectors
• Develop practical, commercially sound B-BBEE roadmaps aligned to client objectives
• Advise clients on implementation structures and compliance strategies
• Draft agreements and supporting implementation documentation where required
• Translate B-BBEE legislation into actionable, client-ready solutions

• Ongoing scorecard monitoring, implementation support, and progress tracking
• Data gathering, validation, and scorecard capturing
• Preparation of verification files and liaison with verification agencies
• Technical report writing and supporting documentation

• End-to-end project management across multiple client engagements
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Collaborate effectively within a consulting team environment

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the B-BBEE field as a Consultant and/or Analyst
• Strong working knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes across all elements and sectors
• Strong project planning, organising, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple client deadlines and competing priorities
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
• Strong analytical capability with a high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Confidence in presenting to clients and facilitating discussions
• Advanced MS Excel and strong overall computer literacy
• Ability to work independently and self-manage in a consulting environment
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle

• Management Development Programme (MDP) or equivalent qualification
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in supporting client growth and business development

• Market-related basic salary plus revenue-based commission structure
