About Luminous Financial Group
Luminous Financial Group is a boutique financial services firm supporting wealth management clients, financial planning clients, advisors, retirement plans, and 401(k) participants. We’re a small team that takes pride in being responsive, organized, and genuinely helpful. We’re hiring a licensed, client-facing professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to grow into higher-responsibility work—potentially including
OSJ/compliance responsibilities (Series 24 path).
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Is already
Series 7, 63, and 65 licensed - Hasat least 2 years
in the industry - Wants a role with
real responsibility and growth potential - Can thrive in a small-company environment where priorities shift and teamwork matters
While the role starts part-time for training, the intent is to ramp hours/responsibility for the right person after they successfully complete initial training/probation.
Core Responsibilities
1) Manage 401(k) Participant Call Center Support
You will be a key point of contact for participants across the retirement plans we manage.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering inbound participant calls and resolving needs in a professional, calm, and friendly manner
- Assisting with account access/navigation, plan questions, and general participant support
- Coordinating follow-ups and documenting interactions clearly
- Ensuring a consistent, high-quality participant experience
2) Own New Client Onboarding (High-Touch Process Owner)
This is not a “send paperwork and disappear” onboarding. We want clients to feel taken care of.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary onboarding guide for new clients
- Coordinating with our assistant who helps gather information and handle paperwork
- Proactively scheduling walkthroughs and being available to clients during onboarding
- Offering hands‑on help with technology, account access, portals, and “how to” training
- Creating a white‑glove, organized, confidence‑building onboarding experience
3) Backup Administrative Coverage (As Needed)
We have an administrative assistant; you’ll serve as backup support when she is out or overloaded:
- Scheduling coordination, operational follow‑ups, and general support tasks
- Helping keep day‑to‑day work moving when volume spikes
4) Support Group 401(k) Meetings and 1-on-1 Participant Meetings (
Some Travel
)
Over time, you may help with:
- 1-on-1 participant meetings (some on‑site travel, not frequent)
- Zoom-based participant/client meetings as an alternative for some plans/clients
When advisors are out, you’ll help keep client service moving:
- Supporting trading‑related needs and time‑sensitive operational tasks (within your licensed role and firm procedures)
- Coordinating client communications and follow‑ups
- Helping ensure nothing slips through the cracks
6) Long-Term Growth: “Luminous Clients” & Bonus Potential
For the right person, there is a path to supporting a book of firm clients over time:
- Clients remain “Luminous” clients
- Compensation would be via wages plus performance bonuses (not a standalone commission‑based advisor role)
7) OSJ / Compliance Track Growth (
Series 24 Path
)
We are strongly interested in hiring someone who can grow into an OSJ designee role.
Over time (and subject to licensing/approval), responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring email and correspondence for compliance purposes
- Approving business and handling daily compliance tasks
- Supporting documentation standards and audit‑readiness
- Working with advisors we supervise to ensure proper compliance processes and documentation
- Handling annual supervisory review of advisors across multiple teams
