How you can make a difference

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Marketplace Partnerships to lead the ecosystem and operations of our Marketplace. This role is strategic owner of the supply side of our managed marketplace. You will be responsible for running and scaling a diverse portfolio of partners (e.g., medical weight loss, women's health) while driving an operating model that maximizes member retention and experience.

You will take a systems-level view of our partner network, identifying opportunities to elevate the shared user experience, shape their operations, drive data exchange, coordinate member engagement and outreach, and ultimately deliver lower churn and higher NPS. You will co-create the product and process roadmaps that allow our partners to thrive within the Health Equity ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

  • Ecosystem Strategy & Architecture:
    Define the long-term vision for how Health Equity integrates, manages, and optimizes third-party marketplace partners. Design scalable frameworks to add new programs, products, or services without reinventing the wheel for each launch.
  • Partner Performance & Retention Ownership:
    Own the "quality of the shelf." Drive metrics that matter—specifically member churn within partner programs—by diagnosing friction points in the user journey and influencing partner product and operations teams to optimize.
  • Operational Excellence at Scale:
    Prioritize development of partner portals, automated reporting APIs, and billing integrations that reduce operational overhead and improve efficiency.
  • Strategic Partner Development:
    Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership. Leverage data to show where our solution under performs and collaborate on solutions, turning vendor management discussions into strategic product planning sessions.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration:
    Lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Marketing to stay compliant and aligned with our broader strategy.

What you will need to be successful

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record in Platform Product, Partner Management, or B2B2C Marketplaces.
  • Partner / Merchant Leadership:
    Understand the rhythm of merchants and white-label partners and build mental models of their business levers, operations, retention strategies. Determine when to address needs via a partner or Health Equity and drive the right win-win changes.
  • Systems Thinking:
    Visualize the entire ecosystem—from API calls to member outcomes—and identify leverage points. Build for the general case, not just exceptions.
  • Operational Rigor:
    Automate workflows and productize operations with a low tolerance for inefficiency.
  • Technical & Data Fluency:
    Comfortable with API documentation (REST/FHIR) and querying data (SQL/Tableau) to assess partner performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketplace

    Experience:

    Prior success managing the supply side of a two-sided marketplace with liquidity, quality control, and merchant economics.
  • DTC Healthcare

    Experience:

    Familiarity with direct-to-consumer and healthcare subscriptions (telehealth, wellness); understanding retention challenges and HIPAA/regulatory constraints.
