Position: Fulfillment Performance Specialist, Fulfillment Operations

Company Overview

Founded in 2015, Phil is a San Francisco-based, Series D health-tech startup that is building a platform that interfaces between doctors, pharmacies, and patients to streamline the process of patients receiving prescriptions. This is a complex, archaic industry, and we've set out to change that.

Phil’s B2B2C platform provides an end-to-end prescription management and delivery service. Our robust platform connects patients, prescribers, pharmacies, and manufacturers, enabling easy and affordable access to medicine. Through its digital stakeholder experiences, patient access services, market access solutions, and distribution models, pharma manufacturers can deliver affordable and timely therapy access to patients, resulting in more patients staying on their treatment plans longer.

Consequently, pharma manufacturers are enabled for more innovation.

The team at Phil is a group of like-minded individuals from varying backgrounds, passionate about creating a new and innovative healthcare platform that is focused on patient experience and overall human wellbeing. Position Overview

We’re seeking a strong independent contributor who can work cross‑functionally, monitor network performance, and help drive operational improvements across our fulfillment network. This person will track key metrics, identify issues early, support routing and capacity decisions, and communicate insights clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

This is an analytical, detail‑oriented operations role — not a technical engineering role.

Core Responsibilities Network Operations & Analytics
  • Monitor daily network metrics, identify anomalies, and escalate issues as needed; metrics include timeliness, volume distribution, quality scores, and utilization rates.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards for operational decision‑making.
  • Prepare and report on KPIs for executive weekly and quarterly business reviews (WBRs/QBRs).
  • Support routing configurations and recommend adjustments based on volume trends and capacity utilization.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.
Program & Project Execution
  • Coordinate setup, timelines, and deliverables for new program launches.
  • Monitor early performance, identify risks, and drive post‑launch optimization.
  • Lead small to medium operational projects from planning through execution.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment while documenting outcomes.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner with fulfillment, partner support, and operations teams to troubleshoot routing and performance issues.
  • Assist with transfer‑out strategy planning and execution.
  • Contribute to process improvements and standard operating procedures.
Key Metrics You’ll Own or Support
  • Fulfillment timeliness and accuracy.
  • Transfer‑out rates and mitigation plans.
  • Capacity utilization and accuracy.
  • Program launch success metrics.
  • Error and escalation scorecards.
  • CSAT‑related operational metrics.
  • Margin and program‑level performance insights.
  • Inventory on‑hand and forecasting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years in operations, business analysis, supply chain, or a similar role.
  • Comfortable working with data (Excel, Sheets, or basic BI tools).
  • Experience building dashboards or reports (Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex information.
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Benefits
  • Ground floor opportunity with one of the fastest‑growing startups in health‑tech.
  • Fully remote working environment.
  • Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience).
  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision).
  • 401(k) contribution opportunity.

Phil Inc. is an equal‑opportunity employer.

Compensation Range: $80K - $100K
