We are actively hiring for a remote Project and Supplier Relationship Manager to support our Talent Acquisition team!
Your RoleThe TA Project and Supplier Relationship Manager is a dual-focused role responsible for Project Management and Supplier Relationship Management. This position leads small to large-scale and complex projects, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and outcomes are achieved. It requires advanced strategic skills, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies to influence and guide cross-functional teams, partners, and resources.
In addition, this role develops and maintains long-term, strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation, reducing risk, and creating mutual value. The position plays an important role in optimizing supplier performance, strengthening operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Your Work Project Management- Lead end-to-end project delivery by defining scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance to ensure clear direction and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts to drive alignment, accountability, and successful execution.
- Monitor project performance, proactively identify and minimize risks, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and business objectives.
- Communicate project status, insights, and proposals to executives and invested parties, ensuring clarity and informed decision-making.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive collaboration, innovation, and long-term value creation.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, renewals, and service level agreements (SLAs) to optimize cost, performance, and risk.
- Oversee supplier performance through KPI and SLA tracking, vendor scorecards, and compliance monitoring.
- Identify and implement cost optimization and operational efficiency opportunities across supplier engagements.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier-related issues, partnering with Procurement, Legal, Risk, IT, and business teams to ensure timely resolution and continuity of service.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, supplier relationship management, vendor governance, or a related strategic operations role.
- Demonstrated experience leading small to large-scale, cross-functional projects from initiation through execution and close.
- Experience managing strategic supplier relationships, including performance reviews, SLA/KPI development, and contract renewals.
- Proven track record of influencing partners across functions including Procurement, Legal, Risk, IT, and business teams.
- Strong executive presentation skills, including communicating status updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Experience managing project budgets, cost optimization efforts, and financial tracking (POs, invoicing, forecasting).
- Ability to identify and mitigate risk while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable plans.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, etc.) and visualization tools (e.g.,iGraphix, process flows).
- Experience supporting Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or Workforce programs (e.g., ECW, RPO, staffing suppliers).
- Experience working in HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday, Phenom, Good Time, AI-enabled tools).
- Exposure to AI governance, technology risk assessments, or vendor security/compliance reviews.
- PMP, PgMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or other project management certification.
- Experience leading change management initiatives in collaboration with formal change practitioners.
- Experience building or running a Supplier Performance Management framework (vendor scorecards, quarterly business reviews, governance cadence).
- Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.).
