REMOTE Leave Specialist, Leave of Absence Administration

Overview

Employer Industry: Healthcare Services

• Serve as the primary contact and support for colleagues and leaders throughout assigned leave cases to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the Leave of Absence program and related initiatives
• Provide subject matter expertise on return-to-work strategies and benefit-related policies
• Manage vendor partnerships and ensure oversight of leave programs
• Conduct training sessions on Leave of Absence programs and procedures for various internal groups

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leave of absence management or related HR functions
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws, including FMLA and ADAAA
• Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and critical thinking in complex scenarios
• Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Experience in a healthcare setting or within a large organization
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Previous experience conducting training sessions or workshops
• Skills in data analysis and performance improvement initiatives
