Location: Bloomfield Hills

Finance Support Specialist Position Objective

Work with Owners, Director of Finance & Human Resources on all office daily operations thereby ensuring company core values, client satisfaction and revenue increase.

Must have at least 2-4 years Accounting Experience

Job Duties
  • Open mail daily
  • Manage payables via automation solution
  • Update payables entries from spreadsheet into Quick Books
  • Perform daily sales transaction
  • Make online payments for any bills that can be paid online
  • File and pay monthly sales tax
  • Reconcile third-party vendor payment receivables
  • Manage and coordinate iPad repair/replacement process
  • Assist with contacting landlords when needed
  • Assist with contacting utility companies
  • Coordinate closure schedules for cleaning etc
  • Coordinate maintenance i.e. fire extinguishers update, when someone will be to a location to fix something
  • Information Gathering and Form Completion
  • Assist in Permitting Requirements and Filings
  • Review payroll hours spreadsheet
  • Review revenue comparison spreadsheet
  • Respond to Unemployment Claims
  • Using onboarding tool, manage onboarding candidate's status, by following up with location GM's
  • Manage onboarding tool questions/problem resolution
    • Follow up with location manager to track candidate's status
    • Ensure all processes are being completed in a timely fashion
    • Manage software side of the onboarding and DHS e-verify system
  • Update employee rosters
  • Chargeback investigation and send emails to location team
  • Assist with plan administration for LTD/STD/Life/Health and 401k benefits

This position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday's in office 8a-4 (or 7-3)

Wednesday's and Friday's work from home

Health Insurance

Employee will be eligible to enroll in health insurance benefits effective on the 61st day of continuous employment per company program and schedule. Current Company policy is to pay a portion of the employees' premium costs (medical, dental and vision) under our Base POS HSA Plan. Cost to the employee is $165.00 per month (subject to change at each renewal period).

If employee elects coverage Aqua Tots pays $4,200 of employee premium costs as a benefit.

Paid time Off

Employee will be eligible for paid time off per Company policies. Employee will accrue 1 hour per 30 hours worked ESTA time starting on day 1, up to a max of 72 hours per year, which can be used after 120 days of employment. We also offer around 25+ days per year while we are closed for the holiday, not given in the form of PTO/sick days, but paid their salary during location closure for holiday breaks.

These are not guaranteed days off for any of the management team.

Cell Phone Reimbursement

Cell phone reimbursement will be available;
Aqua Tots will reimburse 50% of your monthly bill up to $50 (up to $600 yearly). This is paid out monthly if a reimbursement form is submitted properly within 30 days of the bill being paid. This will begin after training is complete.

Gym Membership Reimbursement

We will reimburse the cost of your personal gym membership up to $30.00 per month (360.00 per year)

401k Program

Must be over the age of 18, have completed 1 consecutive year of employment, and completed 1,000 hours worked with in 6 months. We have quarterly entry dates (January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st) to enroll the form must be turned in 30 days prior to the entry date of your choosing. The plan will match 100% on the employees first 3% of deferrals and 50% on their next 2% of deferrals.

The contributions to this plan are pre-tax dollars.

  • if an employee defers 1 % - the company's match will be 1%
  • if an employee defers 2 % - the company's match will be 2%
  • if an employee defers 3% - the company's match will be 3%
  • If an employee defers 4% - the company's match will be 3.5%. (That is 3% plus ½ of the next 1%) since the employee deferred 4%.

if an employee defers 5% or more - the company's maximum match will be 4% - never higher

Life Insurance

We provide a policy for $25,000 for the employee. If you wish to elect additional coverage for yourself, spouse or dependent you can choose to do so at a minimal extra cost. Deductions for this will be taken post-tax.

Short Term/Long Term Disability

This policy is a company paid benefit for all eligible employees
