Our client is a PE-backed, vertically integrated citrus ingredients manufacturer that provides products across beverage, bakery, spice and savory applications. As part of a broader commercial transformation, the company is investing in innovation-led growth and is hiring a Senior Strategic Account Manager to lead customized sales solutions with food service QSRs, distributors and manufacturers. Reporting to the Director of Global Ingredients, the successful candidate is someone who thrives at the intersection of customer innovation, ingredient functionality, and disciplined execution.
This individual will help expand the current portfolio while bringing new ingredient platforms from concept to commercialization, shaping opportunities alongside customers and influencing internal decisions to ensure ideas are scalable, profitable, and operationally sound.
- Build and grow strategic relationships with innovation-driven customers seeking customized ingredient solutions.
- Lead discovery conversations to identify unmet needs and new formulation opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with customer commercial, technical, and leadership teams.
- Act as the primary commercial lead for citrus ingredient and application innovation.
- A senior commercial professional with 8–15+ years of experience in food ingredients sales, technical sales, or innovation-driven commercial roles.
- Experienced in selling customized solutions or application-led selling to QSRs (Starbucks, Chipotle, etc.), ingredient distributors as well as manufacturers of baking mixes, sauces and marinades.
- Comfortable holding technical conversations around ingredients, formulation, and functionality with R&D and product development teams.
