Salary Range: $75k-95k per year

Position Overview

The National Accounts Analyst (Off Premise) will support data strategy, build capabilities, and uncover insights to drive sales execution to enhance National Accounts performance. This role will provide analytical support and craft executive level summaries to ensure cross‑departmental alignment and help drive strategies to achieve profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insights
  • Analyzes syndicated (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Circana) and internal sales data to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks within the wine category.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights.
Sales Support & Presentations
  • Develop compelling, fact‑based sales stories to support new item launches, assortment recommendations, and promotional programming.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leads to tailor insights and presentations for key off‑premise chain accounts.
Business Reviews & Reporting
  • Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews to track performance vs. goals and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support urgent business needs or retailer‑specific initiatives.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, and Finance to align on business priorities and category strategies.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on category performance and shopper insights for wine.
Retail & Consumer Trends
  • Monitor industry, competitive, and consumer trends to help guide product development and promotional planning.
  • Stay informed on pricing, merchandising, and promotional effectiveness across key accounts.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years professional sales analyst and/or category insight experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred.
  • Experience with managing North American proprietary reporting systems is strongly desired.
  • Expert in Excel with regard to Data Management, Reporting, and Data Analysis.
  • Experience with Power Query, Excel VBA and relational databases is a plus.
  • Experience with Data Visualization.
  • Power BI strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and garner insights using Circana and Nielsen data.
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal.
  • Superior organizational skills, detail‑oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, maturity under pressure, and anticipates and resolves problems.
  • Self‑starter, passion to challenge the status quo, curiosity, desire, and ability to think beyond surface level, dive deeper into financials and strategic thinking.
