Position: Account Director (100% Remote – 6-month contract)

Account Director (100% Remote – 6-month contract) About the Role

Our client, a boutique creative agency, looking for an Account Director to cover a maternity leave. Although the role is 100% remote, the candidate must work in the Pacific Standard Time zone. You will partner with the Managing Director to oversee client relationships and drive new business opportunities across the U.S.

You are a self‑starter with a strong focus on business development, client satisfaction, and team leadership
. You’ll ensure client expectations are met and exceeded while maintaining a profitable, high‑performing environment. Your deep understanding of digital creative, technology, and advertising will help position the agency at the forefront of the industry.

What You’ll Do Account Management & Leadership
  • Lead and nurture existing and new client relationships across your region.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for client issues and manage expectations with senior stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead operational review meetings, ensuring alignment across all accounts.
  • Educate clients on the agency’s capabilities, recent work, and successes.
  • Partner with creative teams to guide the development of marketing and campaign assets.
  • Negotiate client agreements, manage service contracts, and support invoicing and rate card management.
Business Development & Market Presence
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities, collaborating with U.S. and global teams.
  • Build the agency’s reputation locally through networking, events, and strong relationships with partners, brands, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with other agency offices to share insights, coordinate opportunities, and ensure seamless regional coverage.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in client management and business development in a digital creative or advertising agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, digital technology, and creative processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with high financial acumen and the ability to motivate teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
