BNL, Inc. is a distinguished professional services firm specializing in IT transformation and innovative technology solutions for federal agencies and enterprise clients. We are seeking a seasoned Vice President who has relationships across the Department of Commerce multiple Bureaus covering tactical execution experience and strategic client relationship experience.
BNL is one of the awardees of the Department of Commerce (DOC) AIMS multi-award BPA. The contract will support the DOC's strategic goals and objectives by providing a range of services such as strategic planning, performance management, data analytics, change management, and stakeholder engagement. The BPA supports all of Commerce’s components and could potentially be used by other agencies.
The Vice President role will also include driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and securing government contracts. This could include managing the opportunity pipeline, fostering relationships with government stakeholders/primes, shaping procurements, and supporting capture/proposal efforts. This role requires deep knowledge and familiarity of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), GWAC, IDIQ, BPA contract vehicles, government budget cycles, and market intelligence tools.
Important Note** Primarily remote position but travel to onsite locations may be required. This role may also involve travel to industry days, conferences, customer sites, and partner meetings.
As a Vice President, you will support a multitude of different roles including Program Management and Business Development across multiple agencies including the Department of Commerce AIMS BPA.
Business Development And Pipeline Development- Build and maintain a robust and accurate pipeline of opportunities within a CRM or solution established by BNL, providing regular growth forecasts to executive leadership.
- Identify and qualify new federal business opportunities, maintaining a minimum pipeline of 6-8 revenue targets in qualified leads that will be awarded annually
- Position BNL to Win RFPs, Task Orders, and Call Orders
- Deliver a strategic growth plan annually to Executive Leadership
- Manage deal registrations and present them for approval by Executive Leadership
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive revenue growth by increasing sales of consulting and professional services to both existing and new clients.
- Conduct market research to identify upcoming, high-value contracts and analyze competitor activities.
- Shape annual federal business development plans.
- Strategic Partnerships, establish teaming agreements with partners to strengthen proposals.
- Analyze competitors and win/loss outcomes
- Identify trends in customer demand
- Coordinate marketing and outreach efforts for awareness of the contract
- Strong networking capabilities, executive-level presentation skills, and the ability to interpret complex government solicitations
- Actively monitor procurement portals like SAM.gov and GSA Schedule or other identified locations to track upcoming solicitations, requests for quotation (RFQ), requests for proposal (RFP), GWAC, IDIQ, BPA contract vehicles, and requests for information (RFIs).
- Leverage specific contract vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule) and small business set-asides to gain a competitive edge.
- Manage multiple small and large strategic partners and subcontractors. This includes having an in-depth understanding of how to leverage their capabilities and key differentiators to position BNL to win opportunities.
- Provide support to the CO/COR and program offices as required under the contract.
- Understand pain points and develop solutions to mitigate disruption for the Customer.
- Establish, build, and maintain trusted relationships with federal government program managers, contracting officers, industry partners, and industry prime contractors and subcontractors to influence future requirements.
