Role Overview — Business Analyst
Work Type: Fully Remote
Net Impact Strategies is seeking a Business Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives for federal government clients. The role focuses on improving processes, supporting program initiatives, analyzing data, and translating client requirements into actionable solutions. Experience in government environments and Strategic Portfolio Management is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in cross-functional efforts to improve process efficiency and procedures.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources and present findings through reports and briefings.
- Develop plans, procedures, reference materials, and execution guidance for program initiatives.
- Document business processes, policies, procedures, and user guides.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure deliverable quality.
- Evaluate products and procedures for compliance with federal standards, financial controls, and internal policies.
- Analyze how new initiatives support agency mission and business goals.
- Support teamwork and collaborative goal setting.
- Track deliverables, prepare status reports, and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain strong communication with clients to align expectations.
- Perform functional testing and present findings.
- Translate functional requirements into user stories and collaborate with developers during implementation.
- Provide end-user support, including root-cause analysis and validation of data entry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
. - Strong analytical, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support team leads and client stakeholders.
- Ability to manage workload, identify risks, and address gaps.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and business requirements analysis
