Overview
Operations/Planning Specialist, you will be a crucial part of Sales Execution Team. This role involves assisting advisors by providing exceptional client experience throughout the underwriting portion of the sales cycle and streamlining business operations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. They will also be a key player in optimizing policy owner services to foster growing financial advisor practices. This role requires a candidate that is highly organized, proactive, and client-focused, with a strong ability to support advisors in delivering top-notch service and outcomes for clients.

- Act as the liaison between Financial Representatives, clients, and the home office underwriting team to ensure smooth progression through the underwriting process
- Monitor and track the status of applications through the underwriting pipeline, ensuring timely responses and resolutions to any issues or delays
- Serve as the professional face of the advisor’s business during client interactions, ensuring all interactions reflect a commitment to exceptional service
- Identify potential bottlenecks or issues in the underwriting process, and work proactively with all parties to address and resolve these challenges
- Work with advisors to support their clients including maintaining up to date client records and providing support to existing clients
- Assist the team as needed in completing insurance applications for new business
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and communication with advisors and clients
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity to build trust and strengthen client relationships
- Assist in the training of new members on best practices for client data management, application preparation and business process improvement
- Foster strong working relationships with advisors and internal teams to ensure cohesive and integrated support for client needs
- Work with other network centralized services to ensure each advisor's practice is as efficient as possible
- Stay up to date on internal changes to the NM application software applications
- Aid in the training and support of subscribers that hire their own team members
- Work with advisors to identify opportunities for streamlining business process and improving overall client experience
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, fostering strong relationships and clear communication
- Efficient sales cycle for advisors
- Consistent and reliable support to advisors, enabling them to focus on building client relationships and growing their business
- Milestone Advisor Achievements (Contests, MAPP/Pacesetter, Personal Goals)
- New Client Acquisition (EPV & MAPP Milestones)
- 3+ years professional experience in administration, operations, financial services or insurance required
- Ability to obtain Life, Accident, and Health insurance in Massachusetts. This is required within 90 day of hire
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
This person will have the ability to learn and develop in this role through training and mentorship. Long term this role could lead to a Director of Operations, Chief of Staff, Assistant Wealth Management Advisor or other opportunities.

- Salary- $55,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience
