Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
We are currently looking for a Remote Master Data Management Analyst. In this role, you will serve as a critical liaison between various departments, ensuring data governance and enhancing the efficiency of operations. Your work will involve reviewing and analyzing data processes and requirements, while also collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You will drive project timelines, influence decision-making and support the development of new policies, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic goals.
Accountabilities- Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, and executes data/system changes in accordance with business processes, policies, and service level agreements.
- Writes detailed technical and business specifications, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify data files or systems.
- Assists in creating project plans, conducting project meetings, and coordinating activities to improve existing business processes.
- Documents data mappings, user interface specifications, and processing logic as per business requirements.
- Communicates with users, vendors, and management.
- Provides regular status reports to management and conducts data quality analytics.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to junior Analysts on the team as needed.
- Leads the data analysis and profiling efforts for new implementations and system enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
- 1-5+ years related work experience in Supply Chain Operations, Accounts Payable, and/or Information Systems.
- Experience with SQL & VBA.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is required.
- Strong relational database systems knowledge.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Understanding of Procure to Pay (P2P) workflows and contracting.
- Good oral and written communication skills as well as grammatical skills.
