About Us

Trashie is the platform that turns recycling into instant rewards. Every time someone sends us clothes, shoes, or electronics through our Take Back Bag or Tech Box, they earn Trashie Cash — redeemable for exclusive deals and rewards from brands they love. We’re helping people form habits that make a difference, using technology and creativity to turn simple behaviors into measurable impact.

Role Overview

Trashie is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO — a strategic operator who thrives in dynamic, high‑growth environments. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and communication, acting as the CEO’s right hand to drive clarity, alignment, and delivery across the organization. You’ll ensure that priorities are translated into action, cross‑functional initiatives stay on track, and the executive team operates with precision.

The ideal candidate brings a consulting‑grade analytical mindset paired with a founder‑level bias for execution — able to toggle seamlessly between big‑picture strategy and tactical follow‑through. This is not a passive coordination role; it’s a force‑multiplier position designed for someone who wants to help scale a fast‑growing startup and play a pivotal role in building a technology company that creates measurable, real‑world impact at the intersection of technology, behavior, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, managing priorities, decisions, and execution across teams.
  • Lead and drive key company initiatives, ensuring alignment between leadership, product, and growth functions.
  • Design and manage operating cadences — quarterly OKRs, leadership meetings, board prep, and cross‑functional planning.
  • Conduct deep strategic and analytical work to inform decisions, uncover growth opportunities, and streamline execution.
  • Translate strategy into frameworks, roadmaps, and KPIs that enable accountability and transparency.
  • Serve as an organizational connective tissue — improving how information flows and decisions get made.
  • Anticipate risks and bottlenecks before they arise, keeping the company focused and moving fast.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, or 1–3 years of high‑leverage experience as a Chief of Staff or executive business partner, ideally in tech or consumer sectors.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to distill complexity into clear insights and actionable plans.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to drive cross‑functional initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • High EQ, strong written and verbal communication, and comfort interacting with executives and investors.
  • Bias toward structured problem‑solving and operational rigor.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute independently.
  • Curiosity about the intersection of AI, impact, and digital engagement.
Who You Are
  • Analytical and action‑oriented — a doer who gets things done fast and well.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, and solutions‑driven.
  • Obsessed with clarity, structure, and measurable results.
  • Energized by fast growth and dynamic environments — thrives in unstructured settings where you can create clarity and build structure.
  • Ambitious and growth‑minded — looking to learn from and operate alongside the CEO.
Benefits And Perks
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Safe, rewarding, and empowering work environment.
  • Generous Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) enrollment.
  • Flexible time off.
  • Company‑wide time off.
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Strong and positive work culture in an exciting startup space.
