Vision for this Role

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for tactically supporting the day-to-day needs of the Procurement Operations Support & Integration team and our restaurant operators. This role includes, but is not limited to, providing Premier customer service across various purchasing categories, issuing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, mining data, maintaining procurement information databases, resolving vendor-related issues, and supporting other department needs. To succeed in this role, this individual will be an organized, detailed, and self-motivated with natural customer service and problem-solving skills.

A successful candidate in this role will be one who is comfortable supporting multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and owning their area of responsibility.

What We Will Accomplish Together
  • Successfully manage the purchasing process including order placement, delivery tracking, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services, and subsequent invoice reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance by upholding company policies, regulations, and contractual obligations throughout the procurement process
  • Support data and record keeping, including maintaining accurate procurement records, managing databases, and preparing reports
  • Communicate and follow up frequently and consistently to ensure issues are resolved for the operation of the business within company guidelines and meeting the Procurement SLAs
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to find synergies and streamline processes and procedures
  • Coordinate a variety of projects as required by Operations
  • Provide additional support to the team as needed and complete other duties as assigned
What You Have

Experience:

  • Highly proficient in Office 365 environment, e-procurement software experience a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Industry experience in food service or retail highly desirable
  • Customer service background is preferred
