Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance
    • Provide information, guidance, and education on final rules and regulations, including laws and regulatory guidance to credit union staff, management, and officials.
    • Respond to inquiries (email, phone, in-person) with thorough research and tailored recommendations.
    • Assist with the development of comment letters during rule making phase
    • Provide marketing support for regulatory compliance management systems.
    • Collaborate with credit unions on resolutions to examiner and auditor findings.
  • On‑Site Support
    • Conduct site visits to review operations, assess compliance, and identify educational needs.
    • Recommend and present educational programs for credit union staff and leadership.
    • Assist with financial analysis, trends, and strategic planning.
  • Education & Training
    • Develop and deliver engaging presentations through webinars, conferences, and in‑person events.
    • Promote available services and resources to member organizations.
    • Facilitate planning sessions, including preparation, facilitation, reporting, and follow‑up.
    • Provide marketing support for organizational initiatives and business partner products.
Qualifications
  • Experience
    • 3‑5 years in financial institutions, specializing in Regulatory Compliance including:
      Fair Credit Reporting Act (Reg V), Bank Secrecy Act, Truth in Savings Act (Reg DD)
    • Leadership or management experience is highly valued.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
    • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
    • Project management expertise, including task and schedule management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Confident in presenting to diverse audiences, from small teams to large conferences.
    • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive mindset.
    • Eager to expand expertise and take initiative.
Additional Details
  • Periodic travel throughout Indiana, including occasional overnight stays, is required.
