About the roleSamsara has several emerging go-to-market partner programs that are potential core engines of significant growth for the company. These include referral and resale partnerships, as well as strategic alliances with the insurance industry, fleet management companies, and technology integrators.
As a Partner Business Operations and Planning Manager, you will be a thought partner to our Partner Leadership, working to define and accelerate the future of our partner ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with sales leaders to build GTM strategy, identify areas to drive operational efficiency at scale, and contribute critical insights to company-wide planning processes. You will also spend time on strategic analysis to evaluate novel commercialization or investment opportunities, while steering optimized programs and processes from concept to fruition.
This is a dynamic role that requires working cross-functionally to advocate for GTM partner programs and oversee strategy to execution. This role has strong potential for growth in our Partner Business Operations and Planning Team.
This is a remote position open to candidates based in the US. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

- Spearhead and contribute to the development of GTM partner sales strategy alongside Partner Leadership
- Design and deploy scalable programs to enable partners to deliver best-in-class pre- and post-sales offerings
- Identify and problem-solve opportunities for process or partner experience improvement
- Iterate on partner policy to optimize alignment with Samsara sales, cross-functional teams, and counterpart partner teams
- Measure program effectiveness by analyzing key performance indicators and stakeholder feedback
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to inform fiscal planning activities
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
- 6-8 years of strategic planning, business operations, and/or consulting experience
- Stellar analytical, written, and verbal communications skills
- Proven ability in turning complex, ambiguous business challenges into clear, data-driven recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams to design and build or improve business processes
- Consistent track record of deploying new programs and/or organizational frameworks to drive business outcomes and working with sales teams
