* ** Job Summary*
* This position is responsible for execution and strategic oversight of assigned categories, including negotiation, budgeting, forecasting and aligning customer needs with the program.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Participate in the financial planning and forecasting process.

+ Develop category sourcing strategy and recommendations in conjunction with key business partners.

+ Conduct industry analysis to provide proactive insight to develop a 3-year category strategy.

+ Partner with the Sourcing team to support negotiating and executing preferred supplier contracts.

+ Provide ongoing trend analysis (business performance & drivers) to seize value-creating opportunities & corrective actions.

+ Research current state and future needs, analysis of market trends and potential suppliers, and identification of continuous improvement opportunities.

+ Responsible for development of comprehensive strategy reports.

+ Identify, design & execute cost savings projects within assigned categories.

+ Manage supplier performance - escalation resolution management.

+ Create & deliver presentations with customer & competitive insights, recommendations.

+ Ownership of required internal processes including budgeting, contract attributes, benchmarking, pricing, product recommendations, etc.

** Requirements:*
* + Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain, category, finance, or related field; supplier management experience preferred.

+ Strong negotiations experience.

+ Presentation Experience.

+ Ability to extract insights from complex data sets using advanced excel skills.

+ Ability to influence through direct and indirect teams.

+ Knowledge /

Experience of budgets and forecasting.

+ High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

+ Travel is up to 5% annually.
