Business Broker Agent, Restaurants

The Business Broker, Restaurants role at First Choice Business Brokers involves assisting clients in buying or selling restaurant businesses. This is a hybrid role that is located in White Plains, NY. We work from home offices, use conference rooms at our virtual office, and Zoom extensively. The day‑to‑day tasks include conducting market research, evaluating businesses, finding potential buyers, and negotiating deals on behalf of the client.

Occasional prospect/client visits may be necessary – Broker Agent strategically determines own personal travel distance limits.

• 3+ years of management/ownership experience in the restaurant business
• Live in NY, NJ or CT – Only seeking candidates in those states at this time.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; project a professional impression
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct market research
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to buying and selling businesses
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Culinary and/or Business Administration or a related field
• Experience with financial analysis, accounting, or investment banking is a plus
• Familiarity with CRM software and tools for managing customer relationships is a plus
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
