You will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding client partnerships and focus on securing retained and contingent executive search engagements for Executive Leadership, VPs, and Director roles across various industries. The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with strong executive presence and a proven track record of generating revenue in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities Business Development and Revenue GrowthIdentify, target, and secure new executive search engagements including automotive, industrial, capital equipment, aerospace, metals, and packaging sectors. Develop and execute a territory growth strategy aligned with company revenue goals. Generate consistent pipeline activity through in-person meetings, networking, industry events, and referrals. Achieve and exceed annual revenue and gross margin targets.
Client Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, COOs, and other senior leaders. Conduct discovery meetings to understand workforce strategy, succession planning, and hiring needs. Position the firm as a strategic talent partner rather than a transactional recruiter. Maintain ongoing communication to drive repeat and retained business.
Market and Industry ExpertiseMaintain a strong understanding of manufacturing trends, workforce challenges, automation, supply chain dynamics, and labor market conditions. Provide market intelligence and compensation insights to clients. Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline, forecast revenue, and manage client engagement activity.
Collaboration and Internal AlignmentPartner with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of search engagements. Lead intake meetings and support search strategy development. Ensure client expectations, timelines, and service standards are clearly defined and consistently met.
QualificationsFive or more years of B2B sales experience in professional services conducting business with C-Suite executives. Demonstrated success closing six-figure service agreements. Willingness to travel. Bachelor’s degree required.
