As SVA expands its Data, Analytics, and AI consulting practice, we are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and scale outbound pipeline in the Midwest.
Job DescriptionSVA Consulting is seeking a motivated and execution-focused Sales Development Representative (Data, Analytics & AI Consulting) to join our team in Brookfield, WI. This role is responsible for generating qualified meetings and early-stage opportunities with mid-market companies, with a primary focus on organizations in Wisconsin and surrounding Midwest markets.
This is a “founding SDR” style role: the ideal candidate is not just task-oriented, but curious, coachable, and excited to help shape messaging, outreach plays, and market feedback loops alongside consulting and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage outbound prospect lists aligned to SVA’s ideal client profile.
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, Linked In, events, referrals) to generate qualified discovery meetings.
- Research target accounts to personalize outreach and identify business pain points tied to data, analytics, and AI adoption.
- Qualify prospects based on fit, urgency, business need, and readiness.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and SVA consulting leaders.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline hygiene.
- Partner with consulting and marketing teams to refine talk tracks, objection handling, and value messaging.
- Capture market feedback from calls and outreach, and translate insights into improvements in targeting and positioning.
- Meet/exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline goals.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in BDR/SDR, inside sales, recruiting, or consultative business development roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high activity levels while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable learning new industries, business models, and technical concepts quickly.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar).
- Self-starter mindset with strong follow-through and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience selling or supporting professional services, technology consulting, analytics, or SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with data/analytics/AI concepts and common business use cases.
- Experience with account-based outbound strategy in regional or mid-market segments.
- Comfortable speaking with operations, finance, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience supporting event-based prospecting and partner referral channels.
- Ramp to consistent weekly outbound activity goals.
- Build and maintain a target account list aligned with SVA’s ICP.
- Book qualified discovery meetings with net-new prospects.
- Demonstrate strong CRM hygiene and reporting accuracy.
- Contribute insights that improve conversion rates in messaging and outreach sequences.
