Seeking Purchasing Specialist for Specialty Pharmacy! Onco
360 has an immediate need for a Purchasing Specialist. Onco
360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. This is a remote position.

The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for fulfilling daily purchasing needs for the Onco
360 network. The majority of purchasing responsibilities involve pharmaceutical products, but non-pharmaceutical products are needed occasionally. The position will meet daily deadlines and cut-offs. Specific stock levels will be maintained, site by site, to prevent stock-outs, understock and/or overstocks from occurring. The position will support purchasing projects, initiatives and other operational needs involving purchases and stock levels.

Starting salary at $25.00/hour and up, depending on experience.

Purchasing Specialist Major Responsibilities
  • Perform daily purchasing for the Onco
    360 network, utilizing purchasing analytics and adhering to supplier contracts.
  • Work to prevent out of stock occurrences by monitoring sales trends.
  • Maintain product costs in CPR+.
  • Support intra-company product transfers to reduce the need for purchasing and mitigate loss due to expiration of product.
  • Maintain stock levels within acceptable “days on-hand” constraints.
  • Effectively communicate critical cut-off times and specific purchase requirements to necessary Operations staff.
  • Provide assistance, back-up and fill-in for other Purchasing/Inventory obligations as needed.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Purchasing Specialist Position Qualifications Education / Learning Experience
  • Required:

    High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Desired:
    Associate’s degree or higher education preferred.
Work Experience
  • Required:

    5 to 7 years of purchasing experience.
Skills / Knowledge
  • Required:

    Working knowledge of electronic spreadsheet software, computerized inventory management systems and PC applications.
