Better Mynd is on a mission to make mental health resources more accessible to college students everywhere. Through our nationwide affiliated network of licensed clinicians and our proprietary virtual counseling technology, Better Mynd helps colleges and universities to better support the growing mental health needs of their students.

The role

The Assistant Director of Campus Success position is responsible for the day-to-day success of our partners and end users, leading to the expansion of services and contract renewal of each account.

In this campus-facing role, you will be responsible for onboarding and implementation of Better Mynd services at higher education institutions. Through your energy and passion for Better Mynd, you will generate loyalty and trust among our campuses post-sale as well as continued relationship building and strive to ensure they meet success goals. This includes holding regular meetings with college administrators, facilitating presentations and product demonstrations via the web and on-campus, closing renewals and expansions in accordance with annual performance targets, and reporting platform issues that may arise for students and administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard new campus partners with fast time-to-value goals to ensure successful implementation and utilization of Better Mynd services.
  • Track utilization of teletherapy sessions, identify trouble spots, and initiate solutions in an urgent, yet compassionate and professional manner.
  • As the person most closely connected to our partner campuses, you will serve as a bridge between them and Better Mynd units including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Operations.
  • Demonstrate Better Mynd products and services to new contacts at current accounts via phone, web, and in-person with authenticity and enthusiasm.
  • Be the primary relationship builder with the campus, leading to on-time renewal and expansion into new product lines.
  • Embrace a dynamic, changing, growth environment, evolving our Campus Success strategies in collaboration with your CS peers and company leaders.
  • Utilize Hub Spot (CRM) to manage communication and many aspects of the client lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and positive energy while representing Better Mynd online, on campuses, and at various conferences and association meetings.
  • Motivate yourself to manage daily tasks as this is a remote position working from your home office.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years Client Success/Implementation/Account Management experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; confident communicating and building rapport with senior-level as well as administrative professionals.
  • Experience in higher education (EdTech, student services, or other on-campus roles) strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous start-up roles, ideally remote work strongly preferred
  • Experience with a CRM (Hub Spot) and project management () software preferred
  • Experience supporting subscription-based technology services preferred.

Travel

Some limited travel required. Periodic visits to conferences, quarterly departmental meetings, and company retreats.

Compensation

Not eligible for visa sponsorship, must be located in the United States. Compensation: $70,000-$85,000 base salary plus quarterly bonus structure. OTE: $90,000 - $105,000. Plus health benefits, 401k, and equity considerations.
