Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week)

Currently, we have an opening for a Warranty Specialist to join our team. The Warranty Specialist plays a key role in supporting dealers, customers, and internal teams across Sandvik Mining Canada by coordinating warranty claims, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to warranty policies and procedures.

What you will be doing Warranty Administration & Claims Management
  • Coordinate and process warranty claims for dealers and customers across Canada in accordance with warranty policies.
  • Support the service administration team with warranty job management and claims when required.
  • Review warranty eligibility, documentation, and claim accuracy prior to submission.
  • Open, manage, and close warranty job orders using multiple internal systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the CRM warranty dashboard, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Track claim status, follow up on outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Support engine and engine component claims with OEM’s (Volvo, CAT, etc.).
Reporting & Data Management
  • Prepare and maintain bi-weekly Work in Progress (WIP) reports and follow up with administration team.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly warranty reporting for management.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, graphs, and data summaries to support warranty analysis.
Customer & Stakeholder Support
  • Provide prompt, professional responses to internal teams, customers and dealer inquiries, including expedited requests.
  • Proactively resolve warranty concerns by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Account Teams, to ensure successful business outcomes.
Training, Systems & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide training and support for new employees on warranty processes and systems as required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including new software or system rollouts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warranty processes, reporting, and data accuracy.
Environmental Health and Safety

What you will bring along
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warranty specialist, warranty administration, or related role.
  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of computer literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience interpreting warranty policies and knowledge of mining equipment is an asset.
  • Proficiency in both English and French is considered an asset.
  • Post‑secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset.
  • General knowledge of mining equipment product lines an asset.
