Deal Strategy Coaches are a senior advisory tier within the ecosystem—working with sponsors, funds, and investment teams to sharpen deal strategy, execution judgment, and transaction readiness while earning through high-impact advisory engagements.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Deal Strategy Coaches to provide strategic, deal-focused coaching and guidance across the transaction lifecycle.

This is not a traditional employment role
. Coaches operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Coaches:

  • Coach fund managers and sponsors on deal framing, transaction strategy, and execution planning
  • Guide diligence strategy, structuring alternatives, and negotiation posture
  • Mentor analysts and deal scouts, strengthening deal judgment and IC preparedness
  • Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
  • Build a verified Coach Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced deal professionals who excel at guiding execution strategy and mentoring high-performing investment teams.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Deal Strategy Coaches may:

  • Coach sponsors and fund managers on transaction strategy, timing, and structuring options
  • Advise on diligence planning, risk assessment, and negotiation strategy
  • Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling logic, diligence execution, and IC presentation
  • Provide guidance on portfolio transactions, add-ons, refinancings, or exit strategy
  • Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or strategic co-investors
  • Coaches focus on high-level deal strategy, execution coaching, and mentorship
    , rather than day-to-day transaction processing or full-build modeling unless explicitly approved.
Eligible Advisory Areas
  • Deal framing, structuring, and transaction strategy
  • Investment committee support and execution decision-making
  • Diligence oversight, risk mitigation, and negotiation planning
  • Portfolio transactions, restructurings, and exits
  • Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts
  • Approval is granted based on transaction experience, deal outcomes, and demonstrated ability to coach teams through real transactions.
Compensation & Deal Economics
  • Coaches are independent contractors
  • Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, transaction history, and engagement scope
  • Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory contributions to closed deals
  • Payments issued after completion of advisory milestones or deal closure
  • No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-impact deal strategy contributions
How Coaches Get Activated
  • Submit a Coach application detailing background and deal experience
  • Complete verification and category approval
  • Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
  • Begin coaching funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements
  • This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

    Provide investment advice to the public

    Solicit securities

    Market investments outside of approved channels

    Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

    All coaching and advisory activity must comply with applicable securities laws and remain focused on strategic deal guidance, execution coaching, and mentorship
