US Export Controls Lead – Pall Corporation – is responsible for managing the company’s Export Compliance program globally. This role will help develop and implement export compliance improvement processes, including export screening, export licensing, and export classification, with a particular focus on ITAR compliance globally.
In This Role, You Will Be Required To- Serve as the subject matter expert to provide guidance on export strategy, compliance, and activities related to US export controls including EAR and ITAR.
- Serve as a business partner to enable long‑reaching strategic decisions (e.g., manufacturing and R&D footprint, OEM partnerships, product branding and launching, and mergers & acquisitions).
- Work collaboratively with site leaders to ensure robust internal controls (particularly concerning EAR and ITAR compliance) are integrated into operational processes and procedures.
- Analyze and interpret requirements for compliance as they relate to:
- Export Administration Regulations (EAR) of the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS),
- U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC),
- International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) of the U.S. Department of State.
- Draft and submit TAA’s, MLA’s, and all US export license applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a trade or compliance related field is preferred with 8+ years of senior functional/professional experience in export compliance with a focus on ITAR.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. export regulations required, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and regulations of other applicable partnering government agencies.
- Experience with identifying and assigning export classifications and with submissions of export license applications.
- Must have strong executive presence and confidence in advising business leaders in regard to trade and compliance issues.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex export compliance concepts to business partners and handle Q&A.
- Ability to analyze risk and reward with intellectual and professional rigor.
- Experience of Investigations.
This position requires access to export‑controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if needed, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
Benefits- Annual salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 (range may be modified in the future).
