Summer Operations Management Internship

Leadership Experience + Paid Field Work | May/June – August | 18+ Required Build Real Management Experience This Summer—Not Just Another Internship.

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced management internship designed for individuals who want real exposure to running a business. You’ll work directly with the leadership team, learning the ins and outs of operations while also earning money in the field.

• Direct mentorship from the management team
• Hands‑on experience in recruiting, training, sales, and operations
• Exposure to real business financials and decision‑making
• Paid work on trucks as a mover/hauler + bonus opportunities
  • Mover starting pay: $16/hr
  • Driver starting pay: $19/hr
• Resume‑building leadership experience across multiple departments

This is a hybrid internship combining:

• Unpaid management training (office/leadership exposure)
• Paid field work as a mover or junk removal hauler

You’ll shadow and work alongside management, gaining real‑world experience in running a moving and junk removal operation while also contributing on the front lines.

• Recruiting & Hiring:
  Interviewing candidates, onboarding, and staffing strategies
• Training & Development:
  Coaching team members and maintaining performance standards
• Staff Management:
  Scheduling, accountability, and team leadership
• Sales:
  Lead handling, closing strategies, and revenue growth
• Operations:
  Daily logistics, dispatching, and job execution
• Financials:
  Understanding revenue, costs, and profitability drivers

• Work on trucks as a mover or junk removal hauler
• Safely load, transport, and unload customer belongings or debris
• Deliver excellent customer service on‑site
• Support team efficiency and job completion

• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong interest in business, management, or entrepreneurship

Most internships have you observing from the sidelines—this one puts you in the middle of real business operations. You’ll leave with practical experience in leadership, sales, and operations that most interns don’t get until years into their careers.
