Strategic Aviation Materials Account Manager Job Singapore,Business

ATR is a joint venture between Airbus and Leonardo that manufactures turboprops. We are looking for a Material Account Manager to join our Services directorate in Singapore and serve as a strategic liaison between ATR’s Global Supply Chain and regional operators.

Responsibilities

Voice of Customer (VoC): conduct structured customer reviews and site visits to identify material pain points, expectations, and operational requirements.
Backlog Management: maintain real‑time oversight of customer priorities and urgent requirements to ensure supply‑chain alignment.
Performance Benchmarking: analyze material support KPIs, present performance data to operators, and establish collaborative action plans.
Material Forecasting: collaborate with operators on maintenance forecasting (C‑Checks, major components) and line‑maintenance stock strategies to ensure proactive parts provisioning.
Commercial Support: provide the Commercial and Sales departments with competitive market intelligence and assist in developing value‑based propositions to customers.
Supply Chain Optimization: act as a conduit for the Supply Chain team, providing demand visibility and accurate prioritization to improve inventory lead times.
Internal Communication: serve as the primary internal focal point to synchronize Technical, Commercial, Supply, and Repair departments for seamless service delivery.
AOG Resolution: support the resolution of complex aircraft‑on‑ground scenarios where standard inventory is unavailable, reflecting customer operational situations accurately to the ATR AOG desk.
Level‑2 Support: act as the escalation point for the New Back Office to resolve highly complex or non‑standard material queries.
Risk Mitigation: identify potential material dissatisfaction or supply risks and communicate them to Customer Support Directors to manage customer expectations efficiently.

About you

Minimum Diploma or ‘A’ Level; degree in Logistics or Aviation preferred.
Minimum 2 years within the Aviation industry (Materials/Supply Chain/Technical Support).
Proficiency in SAP (MM/SD modules) and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
Professional fluency in written and verbal English.

Soft Skills

Stakeholder manager: ability to lead without authority and align diverse internal departments (Supply, Repairs, Commercial) to prioritize customer needs.
Conflict resolution: ability to maintain a professional demeanor and find mutually beneficial solutions during high‑pressure situations such as AOG or material shortages.
Interpersonal skills: ability to translate complex supply‑chain data into clear, actionable insights for both airline operators and ATR senior management.
