About The Team
Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re‑inventing how consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol, and retail delivery through both our first‑party and third‑party operations businesses. Dash Marts are our first‑party offering designed to provide on‑demand deliveries of household essentials, groceries, brand‑name favorites, local favorites, and more. The end‑to‑end Dash Mart experience is powered through Door Dash. Third‑party partnerships enable us to offer on‑demand deliveries from SMB and enterprise merchants across grocery, convenience, alcohol, and retail storefronts.
The merchants own the inventory; we fulfill and deliver. This team powers a robust logistics platform through a high‑quality, speedy, and efficient network for both Dash Marts and third‑party partners.
The Role
The New Verticals Logistics team’s goal is to drive efficiency while improving the quality and speed of New Vertical deliveries. Together we are building the world’s most reliable same‑day logistics platform to support local businesses. The projects we work on impact all sides of our marketplace—from Dashers, to Consumers, to Merchants. We are hiring a few Associate Managers who will focus on crafting and executing strategies to win in our most strategic markets, reach efficiency goals, and ensure sustainable growth.
You will report to a Senior Manager in the Central Strategy & Operations team. This non‑technical role sits under the Office of the COO. We operate in a hybrid model, with time spent in a home office and occasional in‑person off‑sites and field testing across Dash Marts and third‑party stores.
