About the Team

Our US Marketplace Strategy & Operations team is responsible for building, scaling and improving the way in which we provide Restaurant delivery. We build our restaurant selection, test 0 → 1 products to give merchants more opportunity to delight their consumers, and optimize ways to improve our marketplace to increase the return on investment our partners gain from partnering with Door Dash.

This team focuses on all things Restaurants ranging from selection, to merchandising, to consumer strategy, to leveraging our logistics network in new ways, to so much more!

We are seeking an Associate Manager to join our Marketplace Strategy & Operations team, with a focus on Restaurant Growth. This team is dedicated to growing our restaurant marketplace by launching new selection, enhancing in-app merchandising, helping negotiate new merchant partnerships, and commercializing products that help our restaurant partners grow their businesses on Door Dash. In this role, you will define and execute Door Dash’s restaurant strategy, creating sustainable value for restaurants, consumers, and Dashers while unlocking incremental marketplace revenue.

We operate in a hybrid model, balancing in-person collaboration with remote work.

• Strategize. You’ll bring new products and strategies to market, integrating new value propositions into our restaurant ecosystem.
• Operate. You’ll become an expert on running a sustainable marketplace business — creating value for merchants, Dashers, and consumers alike.

• You have 4-6+ years of experience in a problem-solving role (consulting, tech, banking).
• You have an extreme sense of ownership — you never shy away from tackling ambiguous problems and can motivate teammates to go above and beyond.
• You solve problems from first principles and resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
• You thrive with a diverse set of responsibilities and love working across teams and disciplines.
• You’re an analytical powerhouse — you let data win arguments and are comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and modeling in Excel.
• You’re a collaborator with experience managing stakeholders across diverse audiences, from front-line doers to senior executives.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
