About the Role

We are seeking a Supplier Onboarding Analyst to support a large‑scale digital procurement transformation for a global organization operating in a regulated manufacturing and supply chain driven industry. This role will play a critical part in enabling suppliers to transition into new systems and workflows by ensuring accurate supplier master data, effective onboarding processes, and strong cross‑functional coordination.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of analytical rigor, process, and strong communication skills, with the ability to work across procurement, technology, data, and supplier‑facing teams during a fast‑paced implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute supplier onboarding activities, including data collection, validation, and accuracy checks.
  • Support historical supplier data loads, cleansing, and remediation efforts required for system readiness.
  • Coordinate with supplier master data teams to ensure alignment with data standards, naming conventions, and governance rules.
Onboarding Process & Technology Support
  • Support onboarding workflows within a supplier onboarding platform, including testing, issue documentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify onboarding process gaps and improvement opportunities; contribute recommendations to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Assist in documenting future‑state processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
Supplier Communications & Readiness
  • Prepare supplier‑facing communications, readiness materials, and FAQs to support clear expectations and successful onboarding.
  • Partner with sourcing and category teams to coordinate supplier outreach, follow‑ups, and status tracking.
  • Maintain onboarding dashboards, metrics, and progress reports.
Change Management
  • Support change management activities related to supplier onboarding, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and training support.
  • Assist in assessing the impact of new processes and technologies on suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Provide reporting and insights related to onboarding progress, supplier segmentation, and data quality trends.
  • Partner with market intelligence and analytics teams to ensure supplier data supports downstream reporting and visibility needs.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with procurement, supplier quality, master data, IT/process & technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding execution.
  • Serve as a coordination point for onboarding inquiries, issue resolution, and escalation management.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 35+ years of experience in supplier onboarding, supplier master data, procurement operations, supply chain, or process/technology implementations.
  • Experience with procurement or supplier onboarding platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Graphite, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to translate process requirements into actionable tasks and communicate clearly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project coordination skills and experience working in fast‑paced implementation environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and data cleansing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience using project tracking or work management tools such as JIRA.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies or large‑scale system implementations.
  • Experience driving automation or leveraging tools to improve data quality, generate insights, and enhance process efficiency.
