Hybrid Role: This role is hybrid, with an established schedule of in-person work required at an assigned work location. Any remote work is expected to be performed from an employee’s primary residence, unless allowed (or prohibited) through the Company’s remote work guidelines.
Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.
Senior Business Strategic Performance Analyst
Job Summary This position is within the DTE Gas Company Midstream organization and is responsible for coordinating and executing transactional services (i.e. storage, transportation, parks, loans, etc…) to maximize revenue generation for all stakeholders. Research and develop new market opportunities, primarily in terms of storage and transportation expansions. Provides insights and implements business plans and strategies. Assesses market trends, financial data, and operational capabilities, translating complex information into actionable insights.

Analyzes business data, develops strategies, and creates plans to improve efficiency and profitability. Uses data analysis, forecasting, and strategies to guide decision-making and ensure business objectives are achieved. Span of Control: 0; this is an individual contributor job.
Key Accountabilities

• Conducts thorough research and analysis of market trends, financial data, operational metrics, and competitive landscapes.
• Develops and implements comprehensive business plans and strategies to enhance business performance towards long-term goals.
• Sustains accurate forecasting models to predict future business performance and supports the monitoring of budgets and annual planning cycle.
• Creates detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the planning function and across the business and provide recommendation changes and improvements.
• Identifies potential risks associated with business plans and develops strategies to mitigate them.
• Partners with various departments implement plans, track progress, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Monitors key performance indicators and reports on the effectiveness of implemented plans.
• Researches and analyzes records, financial data and operating statistics for participating in filing rate and regulatory cases and analysis.
• Creates and formulates business documentation and reports to support the rate case filings and appeals.

• Master’s degree in business, accounting or finance
